Salesforce Projects for Nonprofits & Charities

Scoped Salesforce implementations, migrations and system builds for purpose-driven organisations.

Not every organisation needs ongoing managed support straight away — sometimes what you need is a clearly scoped project: a new Salesforce implementation, a major system rebuild, a data migration, or a custom app built around a specific program.

Blaze Your Trail delivers Salesforce projects for nonprofits and charities, backed by the same certified Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) consultants and developers who support our ongoing Partnerships.

The Kinds of Projects We Deliver

New Salesforce Implementations

Getting your organisation set up and using Salesforce for the first time, with appropriate branding, permissions and record access according to your needs, with privacy and confidentiality as the highest priority.

Custom Apps & Objects

Building purpose-built Salesforce apps — custom objects, data models, screen flows and automation — designed around how your program actually runs, not a generic template.

System Migrations & Data Cleansing

Moving off spreadsheets, legacy databases or another CRM into a clean, well-structured Salesforce org, with data normalised and deduplicated as part of the move.

Fundraising & Engagement Platform Integrations

Connecting Salesforce with the platforms you already rely on — Raisely, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Humanitix, Form Assembly and more — so donor and supporter data flows automatically instead of being copied by hand.

Website & Digital Refresh Projects

For organisations needing more than Salesforce — brand refreshes, new Shopify websites, and donation platform builds — as part of a broader digital transformation project.

How a Project Works

Each project starts with a discovery session: a collaborative workshop to gather requirements, align goals, and identify potential challenges and solutions. From there, we prepare a detailed Statement of Work so you know exactly what's in scope, what's delivered, and when.

Projects are time-boxed and outcome-focused — once delivered, your organisation owns a documented, clean system. Many organisations then move into an ongoing Partnership with us to keep that system healthy and evolving.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A Project is a scoped, time-boxed piece of work with a defined start and end date — like an implementation or migration. A Partnership is ongoing support and system care after that work is done. Most organisations start with a Project and move into a Partnership once their system is live.

  • Yes, though it's scoped separately. Many of our project clients move into an ongoing Partnership once their system is live, so it's proactively maintained rather than left to age.
