RBA card surcharging changes — no action needed
The RBA's new card surcharging rules take effect across Australia on 1 October 2026. If you've been wondering whether this affects your Cover Fee or Donor Tip setup in Raisely, it doesn't.
Platform fees work differently to a card surcharge — they're offered to every supporter regardless of how they choose to pay, and the wording makes clear the contribution goes towards admin costs.
Because it isn't tied specifically to card payments, it falls outside the scope of the RBA changes.
PURLs — still working as normal
We also want to put your mind at ease on personalised URLs (PURLs) in Raisely: they're still working, and the token enforcement change they had flagged as coming isn't going ahead after all. No changes needed to your existing links or setup.
