Recommendation
This solution can be implemented within NPSP and clearly fills a need that is not currently met by native NPSP or Salesforce functionality. It integrates well with the existing NPSP grant management processes and is easy to use, which should support quick adoption by users.
The Grants Content Kit is great for grant applications and content workflow, but it does not support full payment/disbursement tracking by itself (installments, payment status, schedule). The recommendation is to use it to extend the native NPSP grant management solution of Opportunities and Payments. It is recommended to pilot the solution in your partial Sandbox to assess its effectiveness in a real-world setting.
