As Leadership Victoria's programs and alumni network grew, the organisation's data was spread across multiple disconnected systems — emails, website leads, a database and Humanitix.
Without automated validation between systems, duplicate and inconsistent records built up over time, making reporting a time-consuming, manual process.
This made it difficult to get a clear, real-time picture of the stakeholder network, and alumni leadership outcomes and multi-year participation – visibility that was becoming increasingly important over time.

Solution
Blaze Your Trail implemented the Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) as a single source of truth, with custom-built integrations automating data flow from Leadership Victoria's webforms, GiveNow, and Humanitix into Salesforce, and from Salesforce into Mailchimp.
The Humanitix integration keeps program and event participant records automatically up to date throughout their lifecycle, including each participant's specific roles and affiliations across programs.
The Mailchimp integration ensures communications stay personalised, timely, and respectful of subscriber preferences.
Following a comprehensive data migration, Leadership Victoria's team received tailored training to ensure their new solution continues to perform as their needs evolve.
