This is Rama Devarajan. Upon her graduation from University in India Rama worked as a Programmer Trainee, before moving to the USA. Visa restrictions meant that she was unable to continue her career in her adopted country, so Rama pursued a Master's in Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach. After completing her studies, she taught music and gained over six years of experience as a Music Teacher.
Later, Rama ventured into Salesforce, earning multiple certifications and volunteered to gain experience. Joining Blaze Your Trail in July, Rama had 205 badges from Trailhead, as well as Salesforce Certified Administrator, and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certifications.
Over the last 4 months, Rama has contributed over 200 hours, leading a team of volunteers, and supporting REACH Siem Reap, a charity that is passionate about keeping families together, and breaking the cycle of poverty, helping children with access to equal opportunities whilst their families also receive holistic support.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Rama enjoys sketching, staying fit through daily exercise, and spending time with her 12-year-old son.
When we met Rama told me that her goal was to become an Implementation Specialist. We are happy to report that Rama has accepted a new role as Salesforce Associate Consultant at ProQuest Consulting.

Rama says “Before Joining Blaze Your Trail, even though I was certified, I did not have much hands-on experience working on Salesforce. I would like to thank Jessica for giving me the opportunity to lead the REACH Siem Reap project. I got to develop this project from scratch which really helped me get an overall understanding of a Salesforce project starting from requirement gathering to working on creating objects and working on the Program Management Module and building an Experience Site for guest users. Meeting with clients really helped me improve my confidence and communication skills. The morning classes conducted were very useful and everyday was a new learning experience. I got to see different integrations with Salesforce like Mailchimp, Raisely, Zapier, Amazon Connect, Twilio etc and got a better understanding of NPSP and Sales Cloud. I would like to specially thank Kirsten Finger for her exceptional Salesforce knowledge and Flow skills which really inspired me to develop my flow skills and get better at it.
