It’s Tax time in charity land which means two things
1. Everyone is super busy fundraising - annual giving days, winter appeals, major giving calls etc
2. Your fundraising team are worried about how they will generate tax statements in early July.
Because many supporters give often and sometimes via different channels - EFT, cash, cheques, and various platforms online - it can be a huge challenge getting the data consolidated.
You can generate Tax Statements using S-Docs which is available on the Salesforce App Exchange (free for the first 2 templates).
Here is the code that we used to generate these statements. All you need to do is update the logo, the letter copy, and your brand colours.
Be sure to check your fiscal year and roll ups in the NPSP settings.
