Sneh Shrivastava graduated from India’s Rangiv Ghandi Technical University in 2006 with a degree in Engineering - Computer Science. She then worked in India before moving to Australia and starting her family.
Sneh heard about the opportunity to learn Salesforce through her friend Saranya who was the first database coordinator we employed at St Kilda Mums back in 2016.
Sneh signed up to volunteer with the charity 2 years ago, and quickly passed her Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant exams.
But finding a job in the Salesforce ecosystem with no local work experience is very hard, particularly for migrant mums. So Sneh kept volunteering and spent 6 months on a pro-bono project for The Nappy Collective.
She became a Ranger on Trailhead and learnt a lot along the way.
“Volunteering in St Kilda Mums (and now Blaze Your Trail) helps me in learning and enhancing my knowledge which gives me confidence about my skills. I have made new friends and expanded my network under a supportive and encouraging leadership,” says Sneh.
Sneh has gone on to enjoy roles as Salesforce Administrator for Wingate and Salesforce Consultant at Centelon Solutions.
