Introducing Rajat Mahalawet and Ekta Singh. They moved from India to Australia in 2016 after getting married.
Rajat has an engineering degree in Electronics and Communications. He has worked as a Software Engineer in multiple technologies on domains such as HR and Benefits, CRM Salesforce and Autoline Drive.
After moving to Australia, he worked for VicSuper as a Senior Analyst in IT delivery for 5 years. He has a passion for software programming and automation development.
Ekta has a degree in Computer Science Engineering and has been working as Software Test Analyst with Crowd Sprint since 2017.
Rajat and Ekta signed up to volunteer on the Salesforce project with Blaze Your Trail after getting their first Salesforce Certifications.
They wanted to give back to their community by volunteering for non-profits and learning together.
Blaze Your Trail introduced them to Baby Give Back on the Gold Coast, where they volunteered to integrate Raisely with Salesforce to manage community fundraising campaigns.
Rajat and Ekta suggested and implemented the solution using the Campaign hierarchy in Salesforce. They created end-to-end automation using Process Builder and Flow to create/update child campaigns under parent campaigns, contacts, accounts, payments and opportunities.
Together, they provided a valuable solution to a small charity doing great work and inspired lots of other trailblazers to follow in their footsteps.
Ekta has recently joined RightShip as a Salesforce Consultant, and Rajat is now working as a Senior Application Developer for Momentum Energy.
