Introducing another Blaze Your Trail success story, Leena Machanpally.
Leena earned an MBA from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India and moved to Australia where she began her career in as a Sales Support Administrator at SMB Partners. This is where she first worked with a CRM tool, and this experience made her interested in Salesforce.
She took a break to take care of her son (now 5) and during this period she started learning Salesforce, deciding she wanted to make a career in it. She earned her Salesforce Administrator Certification in February 2019.
When she joined Blaze Your Trail in June 2021, Leena had some experience as a volunteer Salesforce CRM Administrator with Digital Inclusion Northern Territory.
Leena joined Blaze because she wanted to learn more and have more hands-on experience with Salesforce in the production environment. She had a 3 – 5 year goal of having a career in Salesforce as either a functional consultant or a developer.
During her time with Blaze, Leena worked on several projects, including Brainwave Australia, One Ball and Prison Network, gaining valuable experience, learning from her skilled peers and team leaders.
This month Leena’s dream was realised as she has started a new job at Telstra as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation Specialist - Journey Programmer.

It took Leena just 5 months after joining Blaze Your Trail to win her dream job. In that time, she also also gained Ranger status on Trailhead. Congratulations Leena!
