Chandini Mohammed graduated from Conestoga College in 2022 with a Masters Degree degree in Information Technology and Business Analysis.
Chandini worked for more than 5 years as a database administrator in her home country of India.
When Chandini joined Blaze Your Trail in March 2022 she had 69 badges on Trailhead and the following Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I. She is now a Ranger.
Chandini contributed 65 hours volunteering for various charities including Little Things for Tiny Tots.
Chandini Mohammed’s 3 - 5 year goal is to be a Salesforce Architect.
Chandini’s reasons for volunteering included helping others and to gain work experience. She told me that it is impossible to gain even an entry level job in her adopted country of Canada without some practical work experience. Chandini loves to volunteer and donate to charities.
Chandini’s interests include making videos for Instagram. She enjoys making motivational videos with a voice over.
This week Chandini was offered a role as Salesforce Administrator at Hexagon AB, a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies.
Chandini said “Despite having five-plus years of experience in the IT industry, finding a job in the Salesforce Ecosystem without expertise in the respective field was challenging. Volunteering at Blaze Your Trail as Salesforce Administrator has helped me gain experience on real-time projects. Working at Blaze Your Trail gave me the confidence to crack interviews, and I got two job offers, out of which I chose the best. Thanks would be minimal to show my gratitude to Jessica and Kirsten. You are doing incredible work, which is beyond words.”
