Challenges
Outback Futures’ Salesforce instance had been set up by a non-certified individual, leaving the system poorly configured and difficult to use.
Data from Raisely, Stripe, Square, and Xero could not be consolidated, making it hard to reconcile income or link funds to campaigns.
The absence of a centralised database meant donor and stakeholder information was fragmented, limiting visibility of relationships and communication history.
Solution
Blaze Your Trail rebuilt Salesforce, correcting NPSP settings and layouts, and standardising phone number formatting with an Apex class.
We integrated Raisely via MoveData, set up a new Xero connection for automated invoice creation, and linked Salesforce with GEM Portal to manage grants.
Two Web-to-Lead forms were added to capture enquiries and community fundraising applications, creating a clear pipeline within Salesforce.
Benefits
Centralised Data
A single source of truth for all donor and stakeholder records now underpins effective, consistent, and streamlined communications.
Reduced Admin Burden
The integration with Xero automates invoice creation for Opportunities, reducing the time and workload of the finance team.
Enhanced Fundraising
Integrations with Raisely and GEM Portal improve fundraising capabilities by streamlining online donations and grant applications, while dashboards provide valuable insights into donor behaviour and revenue streams.
In their own words...
