Selvazhaki Govindarasu is a true inspiration for anyone looking to make a positive impact on the world while also pursuing their career goals. With a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University in India, Selvazhaki started her career as a software tester and later took a break to support her family, who moved around a bit.
However, Selvazhaki did not let these challenges deter her from pursuing her dreams. In December 2022, she joined Blaze Your Trail and already had an impressive 55 badges on Trailhead, Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certifications.
But Selvazhaki didn't stop there. She wanted to make a difference in her community, so she volunteered for various charities for a total of 240 hours. Her interest in volunteering stems from her experience working as an intern as a software tester for three months and her involvement with Generation Australia.
Despite her busy schedule, Selvazhaki still found time for her personal interests, which include cycling, listening to music, and raising two kids.
Selvazhaki's hard work and dedication paid off as she was offered a role as a Junior Salesforce Consultant at Blaze Your Trail, a role that aligns with her 3-5 year career goal of becoming a Developer or Consultant.
