The Founder of Blaze Your Trail is Jessica Macpherson, founding committee member of St Kilda Mums.
Twelve years ago she organised a working bee in the photocopier room at her local maternal health centre.
Under Jessica's leadership this simple seed of an idea grew to what it is today: a much-loved organisation with thousands of volunteers supporting more than 20,000 babies and children each year across Victoria.
The extraordinary growth and impact of St Kilda Mums, Geelong Mums and Eureka Mums saw more than 342,870 prams, cots and other essential items saved from landfill and given to families in need via a network of social workers.
Jessica has also inspired and personally supported many other like-minded organisations across Australia and she has received several awards for her community work, including an Order of Australia Medal in 2019. She was inducted into the Victorian Honour Roll of Women in 2017, was an award winner in the Pro Bono Australia Impact 25, and the recipient of the coveted Golden Hoodie in 2020.
In April 2021 she established Blaze Your Trail a technology consultancy company.
Specialising in customer relationship management and customer experience, both strategy and implementation, Blaze Your Trail has a social purpose, increasing capacity, diversity, inclusion and equality.
Blaze Your Trail helps organisations no matter how big or small with their digital transformation.
